Hi! I'm Yayoi. I graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, now part of Health Sciences University, where I studied an integrated approach to acupuncture that combines Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Elements. I value the way these approaches combine a detailed understanding of health patterns with a deep care for the individual: your day-to-day life, emotions, and what matters most to you.
Before training as an acupuncturist, I studied Applied Mathematics and Neuroscience at Princeton University. I later completed a Welcome Trust-funded MSc and DPhil program in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Oxford.
That scientific background continues to shape my approach to practice. I am naturally curious, thoughtful, and know that health is rarely one-dimensional. I offer a calm, welcoming space where you can feel heard, make sense of your health, and explore treatment at a pace that feels right for you.
Whether you are seeking support with a particular issue or simply looking to invest in your wider wellbeing, I would love to welcome you to the clinic.
